Remote full stack developer for a South African trading company: investment platforms, a crypto exchange and KYC verification.
Context
Top Earners Africa is a South African trading company. For almost four years I was its remote full stack developer, building and managing the company’s portfolio of websites.
The problem
The company ran investment products and a crypto exchange, so its platforms had to handle investment plans, dividends and investor reporting, and verify who its users were.
What I built
I developed and maintained the investment platforms, covering investment plans, dividend distribution and investor reports, and worked on the development and maintenance of the crypto exchange. For identity checks I integrated the Shufti Pro API for KYC verification of platform users. On the front end, I improved site performance and built mobile-friendly features so the sites reached more users.
